Police said the drone approached the headquarters from the Jallo Mor direction, struck the building's outer wall and fell to the ground. Daily Pakistan reported, citing police, that unidentified suspects had sent the drone towards the headquarters by remote control.

The headquarters' security team took the drone into custody and called the bomb disposal squad. Specialists examined the device and declared it clear, which removed the immediate security concern, Daily Times reported.
