How khabr.pk uses AI to write articles, and its limits.
khabr.pk uses AI to write most of its articles. We tell you so on every article written this way.
What the AI does
It groups reports about the same event, checks that they agree, and writes an original article in English and Urdu from the facts the reports share. It does not copy the outlets' text.
What the AI may not do
It may not add facts, numbers, names or quotes that the reports do not contain, give opinions, predict prices or give investment, legal or medical advice. Pictures that are AI illustrations are labelled as such, and we never use AI images that pretend to show a real event or a real person.
The role of people
People decide which sections and languages may publish automatically, review every story on a sensitive subject, and can stop all automatic publishing at once. When an editor has checked an article, it says "Reviewed by an editor".
Mistakes
AI can get things wrong. If you spot an error, tell us through the Contact page. We correct it openly, with a dated note.
