What data khabr.pk collects and why.
We collect as little as we can.
No accounts, no advertising cookies
You do not need an account to read khabr.pk, and we do not set advertising cookies. Your light or dark mode choice is stored in your own browser and never sent to us.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Google Analytics. It sets cookies in your browser to tell new and returning visitors apart, and sends Google the pages you view, your approximate location and your device type. We do not send Google your name or email address, and we do not use this data for advertising. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Visitors in the European Union, the rest of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first: Google Analytics stores nothing in their browser unless they press Accept. Anyone can change their choice with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your accessibility settings are also kept only in your browser.
Our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, keep short-term technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
Videos from YouTube
Our news reels are published on our YouTube channel and shown on khabr.pk in YouTube's player. khabr.pk uses YouTube API Services only to upload our own videos to our own channel and to check their status. We do not use them to access, collect, store or share any information about you or your Google or YouTube account.
The YouTube player loads only when you press play. YouTube may then set cookies and collect information as described in the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Only khabr.pk's own Google account is connected to our app; access can be withdrawn at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of corrections and complaints.
Advertising
If we add advertising, this page will say which partners we use and what they collect, and visitors from regions that require it will be asked for consent first.
