Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has started delivering the Nevo Hunter, which it describes as Pakistan's first locally assembled REEV 4x4 truck. The delivery phase followed a line-off ceremony at the company's Karachi facility on 27 October 2026.

According to the reports, MCML moved from equipment installation to production rollout in under 90 days. The company set up a dedicated body-on-frame REEV assembly line for the vehicle.

The Hunter is the first vehicle launched under the NEVO brand in Pakistan. NEVO was unveiled at The Next Leap event earlier this month and is a key brand within Changan's House of Brands.

On specifications, the Hunter has a dual-motor powertrain delivering 322 hp and 529 Nm of torque, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. It has a body-on-frame ladder chassis with intelligent 4x4, a payload capacity of 1,010 kg and a towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes.

The truck uses a 31.18 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with an IP68 waterproof rating and five-layer protection. With DC fast charging, the battery goes from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes. A 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load system is also fitted; with full fuel and a full battery, up to 227 kWh of energy is available, enough to power a 1,000W setup for more than nine days.

Other listed features include multi-link independent rear suspension, a 63 dB cabin, panoramic dual screens and ventilated seats. Safety equipment includes electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist and hill-descent control.

The Hunter launched at an introductory price of PKR 10,990,000 and is fully booked until February 2027. It is sold through Changan's nationwide sales and aftersales network, supported by dedicated EV service capabilities.

MCML chief executive Danial Malik said: "The NEVO Hunter redefines the truck segment with the comfort, capability and range confidence customers had been asking for. With local production and deliveries underway, a new era of electrified trucking lifestyle in Pakistan is now beginning."
