That is a 172 percent increase on the Rs9.39 billion earned in the same period last year, according to Business Recorder and ProPakistani.

Earnings per share rose to Rs54.44 from Rs20.00 a year earlier. Business Recorder said the rise was supported by higher sales volumes and an improved product mix.

PSO's petroleum sales grew 17.8 percent year-on-year during July-September 2026, more than twice the 7.1 percent growth of the wider industry. Its market share increased by 4.2 percentage points to 45.9 percent.

By product, motor gasoline sales rose 23.2 percent to 968,000 metric tons, and high-speed diesel sales grew 12.8 percent to 759,000 tons. Aviation fuel sales increased 15.5 percent, and PSO supplied 99.6 percent of the Jet A-1 market. Lubricant sales rose 17.4 percent to 9,970 tons.

PSO also continued to manage Pakistan's long-term LNG supply portfolio during a period of supplier force majeure, and worked with the government to maintain LNG supplies to the power and gas sectors. After the quarter ended, it signed a government-to-government sale and purchase agreement with Oman's OQ Trading.

PSO's CSR Trust contributed Rs112 million to education, healthcare and community development during the quarter.
